Charles Ogden receiving Purple Heart
Pfc Charles Ogden is shown being awarded the Purple Heart by Brig. General R. W. Crichlow at Kobe Base, Japan c. Aug 1946. He received this medal for wounds in action in North Burma on May 24, 1944.
(The patch on his shoulder is the China-Burma-India Theater patch denoting his former combat service there.)
